"Sleeping Peasants" by Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso is probably the most well-known artist of the 20th century. He was born in Spain in 1881 and co-founded the Cubist movement, along with Georges Braque. He lived a long life and began his life as an artist at a very young age. He died in France in 1973.

I love the warm golds and blues and the rounded forms in "Sleeping Peasants", which he painted in 1919. This belongs to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which I would love to visit.
